CIACULLI TANGERINE

 

INGREDIENTS: 

100% tangerine juice

Ciaculli is a small town in Sicily where this particularly perfumed tangerine is cultivated. Its pulp is incredibly rich in vitamin C. It ripens late, between January and March.

Thanks to the hard work of farmers’ associations and Slow Food presidium, it is known all

around the world.

 

USE and COMBINATIONS: 

Excellent if drunk fresh in the morning for breakfast or even combined to fried fish dishes thanks to its perfumed notes.

 

TASTE 

Intense, sharp and slightly sour

 

AROMA 

Tipical smell of tangerine, intensely perfumed

LEMON AND MINT 

 

INGREDIENTS: 

Lemon juice, water, sugar, mint infusion. Sicilian lemon juice, peppermint in infusion. Excellent thirst-quenching solution in the hot

summer.

 

USE and COMBINATIONS 

Excellent as aperitif even combined with vodka or pale beer (Radler)

 

TASTE 

Strong taste of lemon, smoothened by a mix of peppermint, water and sugar

 

AROMA 

Intense lemon fragrance with delicate notes of mint

PINK GRAPEFRUIT and CARDAMOM 

 

INGREDIENTS: 

Pink grapefruit juice, water, sugar, cardamom infusion.

 

USE and COMBINATIONS 

Ideal as alcohol-free aperitif or when combined with Prosecco wine to create a cocktail

with oriental perfumes.

 

TASTE 

The main taste is grapefruit with pleasant fragrance of cardamom

 

AROMA 

Balsamic and citrus

GRAPEFRUIT AND PINEAPPLE 1969 

 

INGREDIENTS: 

Grapefruit, pineapple.

A mix of grapefruit juice and pineapple, this juice became popular due to the expedition to the Moon by Apollo 11 in 1969, during which the crew accompanied their first lunar meal with this juice.

Perfect if added to an hipocaloric diet in which pineapple functions as anti-inflammatory and fat-burner and grapefruit is particularly useful for reducing LDL colesterole.

 

USE and COMBINATIONS: 

For breakfast and after working out in the gym.

 

TASTE 

Slightly sour taste counterbalanced by the sweetness of pineapple juice

 

AROMA 

Citrus-like notes

ORANGE 

 

INGREDIENTS: 

100% orange

Cultivated in Sicily by small-scale producers, it’s characterized by its sweet and sour taste, typical of the blonde oranges.

 

USE and COMBINATIONS 

Classical breakfast juice.

Excellent for an aperitif combined with prosecco (Mimosa Cocktail).

AROMA

PLUM AND CORIANDER 

 

INGREDIENTS: 

Plums, water, sugar, lemon juice, coriander infusion.

The plums used are of the Tc-Sun variety, picked up in the Valdaso valley.

The coriander is a spice with balsamic and citrus notes, besides being a fundamental

ingredient in the production of Gin.

 

USE and COMBINATIONS 

At breakfast or for aperitif mixed with Gin.

 

TASTE 

Sweet and intense taste of plum

 

AROMA 

Citrus and slightly balsamic notes of corian- der

WATERMELON AND LIME 

 

INGREDIENTS: 

Watermelon, lime, water, sugar, lemon juice Mark Twain called the watermelon “the first luxury of the world”. Thanks to this mix of watermelon and lime, you will travel to Mexico, where this juice is used to create refreshening and thirst-quenching long drinks.

 

USE and COMBINATIONS 

With its pink colour it is used for cocktails or combined with Tequila to create long drinks.

Intense taste of watermelon and sour taste of lime juice

 

AROMA 

Citrus with fragrances of cherry and cucumber

APRICOT, ORANGE AND GINGER 

 

INGREDIENTS: 

Apricot juice and pulp, blonde orange juice, water, sugar, ginger, lemon juice.

The orange juice and the sharp and refreshening ginger, together with the characteristic creaminess of the apricot, make his juice an interesting mix with fresh tropical notes.

 

USE and COMBINATIONS 

Excellent at breakfast if you want to get the right amount of energy thanks to the ginger and the orange juice, after working out or to create citrus cocktails for a night with friends.

 

TASTE 

The orange juice and the creaminess of apricot are predominant, a pleasant touch of freshness at the end coming from the ginger.

PEACH NECTAR 

 

INGREDIENTS: 

Peach juice and pulp, water, sugar, lemon juice

Hand-picked fruit, ripened on the tree, by local smallscale producers.

Only water and sugar added. No colourants, preservatives nor aromas.

 

USE and COMBINATIONS 

Excellent in the morning for a healthy natural breakfast.

Ideal as aperitif or combined with prosecco wine (Bellini cocktail).
